“Like Malmaison…but not as dark” was the brief! Using local source of inspiration, Hadrian’s Roman Wall, we embellished this new build luxury five bedroom house with glass tiles, handmade mosaic floors and a bespoke glass feature chandelier, contrasted with modern earthy coloured finishes and local Cumbrian oak joinery.
